Ontario and Manitoba, four additional provinces, set to increase minimum wage rates in October 2023

Coinciding with that minimum wage increase on a federal level, Canadians in more than half of the country’s provinces will soon see their minimum wage rates increase at a regional level. At the beginning of this month, Canada’s federal minimum wage rose from $15.55 to $16.65.
