As a children’s nurse you could have an incredibly positive impact on the health and wellbeing of young people, from newborns to 19-year-olds. On this course you’ll discover the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people and learn how to give growing minds and bodies the care and support they need. You’ll explore developmental anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and discover the emotional and social development needs of children and young people too. You’ll learn how to care for the unwell, as well as how to promote healthy development and prevent physical and mental ill health.
