This internationally focused programme provides students with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the dynamic socio-cultural, economic, and political contexts in which events are conceived and executed. The programme features important contemporary themes, such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, the new marketing environment, and the role of events in society, and aims to develop the knowledge and skills needed for event management, equipping graduates with high order managerial and intellectual skills. There is an emphasis on strategic insight and a critical understanding of the operating environment. Traditional teaching methods are augmented by industry events and workshops.
