Step by Step process to Study in Germany is:
Step 1
Choose your college or university in Germany.
Step 2
To start with enrollment in the university or college, copies of your academic certificates will be required.
Step 3
You will have to show the proof of sufficient funds required to cover your living expenses during your stay. For this you can open a blocked account at any branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank in India. Next step is to visit the branch and fill the application to open the blocked account for your student visa. The proof of the opening of this account is required at the time of file lodge. Once you reach Germany, you can request Kotak Mahindra Bank to transfer the entire amount into a blocked account of your local bank in Germany. For the activation of blocked account, an email confirmation will be required. Submit minimum 8820.00 Euro when the account is successfully activated. Currently there are two banks in Germany that provide services to Students i.e. Deutsche and Fintiba/Sutor Bank.

Schedule an appointment with the embassy for your visa interview
Step 5
At the time of interview, visa fee has to be paid. Check the current exchange rate for your visa before your interview and obtain the demand draft.

Wait for your result from the embassy.
