What is the structure of the GMAT Exam?
GMAT is a Computer-based exam and has four sections
- The first section which is Analytical Writing Assessment rate your ability to think critically and communicate ideas
- The second section is on Integrated Reasoning which judges your ability to evaluate information by analyzing data
- In the third section comes Quantitative Reasoning which gauges your skills on drawing conclusions based on the given information

How is the GMAT score calculated?
The GMAT exam is a computer-based adaptive test, which means that the difficulty level of the test increases with correct responses. It means if you give the correct answer to a question, then the next question will be harder and vice versa. The most important sections in the GMAT exam are Quant and Verbal, which carries the bulk of the marks.
What is a good GMAT Score?
The total score of the GMAT Exam ranges from 200 to 800 points. Each business school has a different baseline for the GMAT score. Usually, at least 650 is considered good. Anything above 720 recommended for applying to the top business schools.
